My Story — Where Creativity Meets Technology

My career has taken me from engineering work with IBM and serving as a major account executive in telecommunications to business ownership, media production, television broadcasting, and investigative reporting. Each chapter has shaped how I approach challenges: understand the people involved, ask thoughtful questions, and find a practical way forward.

My engineering work with IBM helped build my technical foundation and approach to problem-solving. Working with major accounts in telecommunications taught me how to connect technical capabilities with business needs—and how much successful solutions depend on listening, communication, and trust.

As the owner of Essex Beauty Supply for ten years, I experienced the daily responsibilities of entrepreneurship firsthand. Serving customers, managing operations, building relationships, and adapting to change gave me a perspective that still guides my work with business owners today. I understand the commitment it takes to build something and keep it moving forward.

Over the years, I have owned multiple companies, including a media company. My work in television broadcasting, production, and investigative reporting brought another dimension to my career: the ability to tell stories, examine evidence, ask difficult questions, and make complex subjects understandable. It also gave me a place to bring creative ideas to life through technology.

For me, creativity and technology have always belonged together. Engineering helps me understand how things work. Entrepreneurship helps me recognize what people need. Media and storytelling help me communicate why it matters.

That combination is the foundation of QuantumTech AI.

My curiosity has continued to grow through earning a degree in computer science and studying artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and biotechnology. I am interested in how these fields connect—and how we can translate new knowledge into useful tools, thoughtful research, and opportunities for businesses and communities.

Teaching and mentoring are also an important part of my story. Through my work with entrepreneurs, students, SCORE Chicago, and Junior Achievement, I share what I have learned while continuing to learn from others. I want people to see that technology is something they can understand, question, and help shape.

Today, I bring those experiences together as the founder and CEO of QuantumTech AI: technical problem-solving, business experience, creative communication, and a commitment to discovery.

My story is still being written. The purpose behind it remains the same—to keep learning, build with intention, and help others turn possibilities into something meaningful.
